Given the need to step back and identify what we are actually trying to solve, and given that we had essentially already been working on the aesthetics of a solution with which we weren't fully comfortable, I thought it appropriate to write a problem statement to identify exactly what we were trying to find a solution to.
This should help us brainstorm on solutions and not limit us to one idea.
