Inspiring Images

If the product is meant to stack, here are some images to help inspire how.

Rooftop Design Project

Parsons students created a rooftop educational facility.

Week 2

We are going forward with the idea of a pod-like hotel solution that can be used in a variety of locations. The solution may incorporate separate pods for things like bathrooms and storage and ideally the solution would be a modular collection to make it more applicable to that variety of locations.

Sketch ideas of pods thinking of how to incorporate storage and restrooms while also exploring how they integrate with each other. Some examples might be elevated or stacked pods and/or integrated or separate restrooms. Try to incorporate environmentally sustainable elements into the design when sketching.

I have heard of these before but they are still relevant

PODS

Maybe Airport Pod Hotels

People are already sleeping in airports, why not give them a little more safety for a small fee. Here is a whole site dedicated to the art of sleeping in airports Sleep in Airports. People are even sleeping in the DTW, it could be an opportunity to go do some more research. I'm sure I could convince my roommates to go sleep in the airport with me one night.
